COVID-19 Safety Plan template
Many plant producers and garden retailers are registering with the Ministry for Primary Industries to maintain existing plant stocks during the Level 4 lockdown.
To stay open, you must register you COVID-19 Safe Practice Plan with MPI. This needs to be a detailed plan covering work practices and ensuring staff can reach the worksite and return home safely every day.
MPI inspectors are already actively visiting worksites operating through the lockdown, and checking their work against their Safe Practice Plans. Having a simple and effective Safe Practice Plan is your best protection.
To help you develop your site-specific Safe Practice Plan, we have prepared this template covering health monitoring, nursery operations, authorised activities and more. This can be used as the basis of your own Safe Practice Plan, ensuring you can continue to operate safely.
